Support Engineer, Helpdesk Support, Education Technology, Remote
My client is in urgent need of a Support Engineer / Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their client success team. This Education Technology start-up are looking to expand, as a result of an ever-expanding client base, clients that are globally recognised institutions.
The company is an Oxford University spin-out organisation that have developed a pioneering SaaS platform, used within the Education sector. The Support Engineer / Helpdesk support Analyst, will take ownership of my clients helpdesk, supporting users across the globe. This is a varied position, and you will also get involved in configurations, implementations, training and much more!
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Engineer / Helpdesk Engineer, as you will have an enormous amount of autonomy and excellent opportunities for progression. As you will be joining a small start-up, you will also be encouraged to get involved in all areas of the business.
What’s required of the Support Engineer?
We’re looking for a bright, inquisitive, technically minded Support Engineer – you don’t need to know everything, but you need to be willing to use your initiative to solve the problem when you don’t know! Key requirements for the Support Engineer include;
Have a solid technical background and a passion for problem solving
Understanding of IT Systems
Experience working within a customer focussed environment
Experience within the Education Technology (EdTech) industry, or training environments, if this has been higher education then even better!
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build and maintain good relationships
