Job Description
Senior SharePoint developer/Consultant – 12 Month rolling contract
Daily rate: €(Apply online only)p/d
Our client, a leading global consultancy organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Consultant to join their team. This is a 12-month rolling contract position, with occasional presence required in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of SharePoint on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms, specifically Microsoft SharePoint Online and Office 365.
Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan, ensuring minimal impact on end-users.
Perform pre-migration assessments and identify any issues or risks that may impact the migration process.
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on best practices for migrating SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and customizations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related issues that arise during the project.
Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure successful integration with other systems and applications.
Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in SharePoint development, administration, and migration.
Extensive experience with SharePoint on-premises and cloud-based platforms, specifically Microsoft SharePoint Online and Office 365.
Experience in planning and executing successful SharePoint migrations, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and SharePoint APIs is a plus.
SharePoint certifications are desirable.
