We are seeking 2 x Senior React Native Developers to lead the building of new projects, for a well-known company in the News, TV and Radio industry.

The company, a leading Digital Agency (based just outside of Manchester, in Altrincham) is looking to scale up their mobile development team. They have a team of talented Mobile Developers (IOS, Android, React Native) and have plans to scale this throughout 2023. You’ll be an integral part of the backend team working on a wide range of existing and new projects for clients. They are well known for producing high-quality, reputable work in the industry.

Person?

You’re a true engineer with a passion for well-crafted and tested code, considering everything from architecture and security to performance.
You will need to lead by example, with a continuous improvement mindset and be proactive in driving positive change, inspiring those around you to do the same.
You understand the value of and are a practitioner of TDD/BDD and DevOps. You are an expert in Javascript and the React Native framework, and perhaps some other languages too.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Developer with a high degree of experience with React Native, to grow their skills and build greenfield projects for a well-known TV company.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mobile applications using React Native
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in developing mobile applications using React Native
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React Native framework
Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, MVP, and Flux
