Job Title: Mac Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite)

We are currently recruiting for a Mac Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing firm based in Central London. As a Mac-focused Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of IT infrastructure services, developing, monitoring and supporting all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain the company's IT infrastructure and develop infrastructure solutions that meet business needs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT infrastructure
Install, configure and maintain macOS hardware and software on the network, including servers, routers, switches and firewalls
Manage and monitor the network to ensure stability and security of the systems
Monitor system performance, capacity and availability to ensure maximum performance
Liaise with 3rd party vendors and suppliers for technical support
Develop and maintain technical documentation and IT standards
Identify areas for improvement and implement systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency
Provide on-site support for users and resolve any technical issues
Train and mentor junior members of the teamTechnical Skills Required:

Proven experience working in a macOS environment.
Expert knowledge of Windows Server and Linux
Proficient in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN
Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and Python
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and security best practices
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve complex issues
