Job Description

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT Support role, preferably in a production, manufacturing, or automotive environment, to join our organization as the primary point of contact for IT support. The successful candidate must possess a proactive and can-do attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new skills and troubleshoot issues using their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Role:

· Manage Service Desk and tickets

· Provide support for end-user devices, including PCs, laptops, mobile phones, and office applications

· Administer Active Directory accounts, security groups, and permissions

· Image PCs and laptops using SCCM

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot printer issues

· Troubleshoot issues related to O365

· Provide support for bespoke applications in a production environment

· Maintain asset management for all IT equipment, keep up-to-date IT documentation

· Procure new IT equipment according to the annual budget

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

· Face-to-face troubleshooting and telephone support experience

· IT Service Desk ticket management experience in an ITIL environment

· Active Directory account management and security groups

· Windows 10 installation using SCCM and troubleshooting

· Printer troubleshooting, including label printers

· O365 user issues, including MS Teams

· Experience supporting bespoke applications, with the ability to solve issues using their own initiative

· Asset management and IT documentation maintenance

Any exposure to the following would be good to have, but not essential:

· Windows Server (Apply online only), VMware ESXi, vSphere client, Veeam Backup

· Understanding of networking (APs, switches, VLANs)

The successful candidate must be willing and able to be on-call for out-of-hours support when required, once they have received sufficient training.
