SALARY: £50,000 – £55,000

LOCATION: Eastbourne

Our client are an established IT services provider providing specialist services to the AEC industry for over 20 years. We’re looking for a dynamic and capable individual who is looking to work with a team and can make a significant impact. We put customer experience and service quality at the forefront of what we do, whilst genuinely helping our people develop in their roles.


Your day to day will look at furthering the vision and direction of IT Services, working closely with the CEO and Head of Ops. You will oversee the Service Desk from management to development of the Services Team. The IT Manager will also look at supporting the software team and Support Engineers. There will be overseeing project design and working on the delivery with technical specialists. Developing continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties will include:

Undertaking infrastructure project work according to agreed schedules, providing clear communication to external stakeholders, working in liaison with the Business Coordinator.
Owning the ultimate responsibility within the business to ensure all IT services software toolset are utilised with a vision of maximum efficiency and cohesion, which results in client experience excellence.
Developing continuous improvement initiatives for success in service excellence for IT Services clients.
Acting as a point of escalation for technical issues that require solutions from clients via phone, video and in person meetings, in addition assisting with troubleshooting requirements raised by junior members of the service delivery team, providing guidance and support.
Continually looking for ways to improve personal and team performance/efficiencies.
Responsible for the generation of external and internal reporting at the required frequency.
Responsible for delivery of monitoring and backup services, across IT Services.

You would be a previous IT Manager or looking for the next step as a Service Delivery Manager. MSP 3rd Line Support and greater. Experience with RMM, Service Desk and IT Documentation tools. ITIL v3 and above, Cloud/Physical knowledge, MS Admin knowledge. Other ideals will include:

Ability to be flexible to travel to clients’ national offices when needed, majority of the time from Eastbourne, but some trips to London necessary.
Ideally experience in an AEC MSP environment.
Working understanding of networking switching, routing, firewalls and VPNs.
Working understanding of VoIP/SIP (3CX) and VC
Proven Technical thinker.
