We are hiring for a global company who are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their Edinburgh team. This innovative MedTech company are changing the lives of patients with respiratory issues through technology. You will be a part of a growing business who are making a significant difference in the world while working in a busy, collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. • Respond to tickets either in person, via phone, chat or email.
Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.
Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
Redirect problems to correct resource
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
Key Skills:
SaaS
Windows 10
O365
ERP system experience
Bonus skills: Epicor, Mac/Apple support
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work well within a team
