My client is an end user based in Milton Keynes who are currently looking for a Dynamics AX/365FO Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be a mix of home and office working. Please see below for more information:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role is instrumental in improving business processes and how they align to AX/D365 (standard functionality where possible) and/or providing guidance on when a customized approach is needed. The role is also aimed at uncovering value-add opportunities within the business units which haven't yet been realised. The role includes requirements gathering, supporting business case proposals, and working closely with other team members to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience for the users of AX/D365.
Provide prompt and professional 1st and 2nd Level Support to the Customers base according to SLA And Support Contracts
To log incident calls using my Client Call Logging system
Ensure all support calls are effectively managed with minimum disruption to the client
Support issues are responded to and resolved to plan and/or within agreed timescales.
'Own' and take responsibility for the Service Delivery to a number of 'key accounts'
Provide regular feedback to customers regarding the progress of support call status
Test own allocated AX developments/fixes before delivering to customers
Work as part of a team
Engage in cross team knowledge transfer to ensure best use of staff resources
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with supply chain, retail, food distributors, 24×7 operation or franchisee model
4 years + experience of Dynamics AX 2012 R3/D365
Ability to translate customer desires & outcomes into high level technical specifications / requirements documents (Business requirement document, Functional design document and test scripts/test packs)
Delivery focused and customer centric with a high standard of interpersonal and negotiation skills for liaison and management of communications with external suppliers, project stakeholders and users
Self-starter and able to work without detailed management. Able to take on new tasks, and apply current experience/skills to facilitate successful outcomes
Understand and worked with both Supply chain and Finance modules. Ability to demonstrate through proof-of-concept supply chain and finance concepts and functions with AX2012/D365
Ability to design and have experience with AX/D365 integrations
