DV Cleared DevOps Engineer Needed – Linux On-Prem and AWS

Are you an experienced Linux DevOps Engineer with DV clearance who is experienced working on secure systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy simplifying complex systems? If so I’d be interested to speak to you.

I’m working with a successful software house who are simplifying complex legacy enterprise software systems with their innovative data management platforms. The majority of their customers are government departments so they require at least SC and ideally DV clearance so you can be deployed on projects from the start. They have a mix of on-premise deployments on Linux operating systems and Cloud based deployments on AWS so need someone who is happy working on both. They are growing through increased revenues and not external funding so are stable and well funded and are rapidly expanding as the use-cases for their products continues to grow. Although they are a software consultancy, they are adamant all staff will have a good work life balance with flexible hours and can work remotely when not visiting client sites a couple of times a month.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Linux-based systems and AWS Cloud platforms. They are looking for a hands-on engineer who can hit the ground running and is happy being parachuted into multiple client projects that are up and running.

In this role, you will work closely with their clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will also collaborate with other members of our team to build automation tools, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, as well as experience with DevOps automation tools, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), you should also be familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and be comfortable interacting with clients at all levels of an organization.
