Configuration Engineer

Marlow, Buckinghamshire (hybrid, onsite 3 days per week and 4 day work week pattern available)

F/T Perm

£50,000 – £58,000pa plus bonus and benefits

We are currently recruiting a Configuration Engineer to join an established engineering team in Marlow.

Supporting two crucial programmes, the post holder will be accountable to the Configuration Manager but enjoy high levels of autonomy and be able to manage their own time and diary.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Support robust change management processes

* Be confident to steer the business appropriately in terms of process definition, tool selection and support the creation of data repositories

* Be able to run the Change Control Board if required

* Support for new tools and process across a multi-site business (exploiting a PDM/PLM system where possible)

* Governance and control of the multi-site PDM/PLM system

* Maintenance and development of the PDM/PLM system

* Review of supplier configuration management plans & support supplier config audits.

* Attend and support Internal & External design reviews

Any experience gained within a highly regulated industry whether it be manufacturing, engineering or defence would be beneficial.

Candidates must meet the requirements for SC security clearance (eligible to obtain not necessarily already have).
