DevOps / Platform Engineer – Remote First

Salary: £75,000 – £95,000 pa | Holiday | Pension | Private Healthcare | Certifications
Location: Base locations include London, Birmingham and Manchester

Your profile

Knowledge of the cloud-native tools, languages and methods across a broad spectrum of technologies – demonstrating knowledge of 1 or 2 areas of specialism e.g. containers, CI/CD pipelines, IaC.
Willingness to contribute your ideas and opinion on the latest industry trends.
Experience mentoring and training junior engineers
Certified or working towards a Professional level cert with a Cloud Service provider – we're happy to support/fund you on this journey as part of your career development!
Microservices platform knowledge will be value-add.
Essential Experience

Extremely sound knowledge of Linux.
Docker
Kubernetes
Experience of building infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
Automation tooling such as Ansible
Strong Understanding of CI environments and how they facilitate the automation process with other orchestration tools.
Ability to converse with both internal and external stakeholders, holding the appropriate level of conversation at all times
Core Networking & Load balancing
Jenkins / Concourse / Gitlab CI
Git / GitHub / GitLab
Graphite / Grafana / ELK / Prometheus
SQL / NO-SQL DB's
HashiCorp (Packer / Terraform / Vault / Consul)
