Application Support Engineer
£35,000 – £45,000

Excellent opportunity for a passionate application support engineer to join on of our best clients well established teams in Fleet, Hampshire. The role of the Application Support Engineer will be to deliver excellent service to all customers using at least one of our clients software products. This will include resolving faults, technical upgrade assistance, software support and troubleshooting. Although you'll be joining an experienced team, our client are looking for a confident individual who is happy working independently when required.

Skills required:
Bespoke application support knowledge and experience
Excellent customer service skills. Able to confidently lead conversations, demonstrate empathy, set appropriate expectations, and handle workload
Database knowledge, SQL Server, SQL scripting etc
Strong Technical background
Excellent problem-solving skills, including attention to detail
Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar would be ideal
Role requirements:
Responsible for the investigation of issues logged by customers and recommending resolution options
Manage and maintain the accuracy and status of tickets logged in our centralised service desk
Liaise with the customer via telephone and desktop sharing to aid the investigation of issues
Develop, maintain and extend business, product & technical knowledge
Self-manage personal workload of issues balanced against customer service level agreements
